S.r.l. (Ltd), established in 1989 by Pier Paolo Stanzione, Alessandro
Biffignandi and Bruno Pisano, is a dynamic company created
for the complete management of goods, able to ensure the highest
quality level at every stage of the operational processes, also
thanks to an advanced computer system and modern and functional
facilities.
The will to ensure better and
more comprehensive services to its customers has laid the foundation
for the subsequent company’s development that led SERNAV
to extend its business range to cover today, directly by in-house
professionals, all the distribution services.
Thanks to the professionalism
and experience gained in their work, the founders, regularly
registered as members of the professional register of Maritime
Agents and Customs Forwarders, created, aided by their more
than 85 employees (qualified and propounding personnel), a
new and modern corporate concept, making of SERNAV an agency
able to follow any operative task related to the freight of
goods.
Thanks to the experience gained
in the harbour of La Spezia, particularly in the management
of C.S.C. (Customs Service Centres) and in the use of the IT
tools, SERNAV opened up offices in the harbour of Genoa, where
it has more than 45 employees, and in Leghorn, where the employees
are more than 15.
The high volume of traffic carried
out in import and export in these three harbours confirms the
competitiveness and quality of the offered services.
In 1999 the company has obtained
the certification of quality from the Italian Naval
Registry (RINA), in compliance with ISO 9002 standard.
